Local Rules:

OUT OF BOUNDS (RULE 18.2)
1. Beyond any fence, gate or hedge bounding the course
2. Beyond any line of white stakes bounding the course
3. During play of the 1st hole, the practice ground on the right of the hole, defined by white stakes is out of bounds. These stakes are treated as boundary objects during play of the 1st hole. For all other holes, they are immovable obstructions.

IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS
1. Protection of young trees. The young trees identified by stakes are no play zones:
• if a player’s ball lies anywhere on the course other than in a penalty area and it lies on or touches such a tree or such a tree interferes with a player’s stance or area of intended swing, the player must take free relief under rule 16.1F
2. Fixed sprinkler heads
• all fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and free relief from interference by them may be obtained under rule 16.1B if the sprinkler head is on the line of play, and is: 1) within two club-lengths of the putting green and 2) Within two club-lengths of the ball. If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard, it may be lifted,cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which is a) not nearer the hole b) avoids such intervention and c) is not in a hazard or on the putting green.
• exception – there is no relief under this local rule if the player chooses a line of play that is clearly unreasonable.
3. Roads and Paths
• all roads and paths on the course, even if not artificially-surfaced, are treated as immovable obstructions from which free relief is allowed under rule 16.1.

ANIMAL HOOF & TRACTOR DAMAGE
1. Damage that is clearly identifiable as having been caused by animal hoofs or a tractor is ground under repair from which free relief is allowed under rule 16.1.
